I'm no football addict. I don't even know the rules of the game. But here I am caught up with watching Friday Night Lights not only Fridays but everday.
The setting was in Dillon, Texas, the series narrates the true tale of the Permian Panthers, the No.1 Highschool football team and its quest for another state title. As the lights of the football field opens each Friday night inviting 20,000 to root Dillon's promising high school team, its star quarterback, and newly appointed head coach Eric Taylor you could actually feel the town's pride and honor on their shoulders.
The story was first written in a book by a journalist H.G. "Buzz" Bissinger. The story was then put to life in the movie in 2004 entitled Friday Night Lights. Now football fans and nonfans alike will be caught up in this superb series...
After the long wait, downloading the first 12 episodes of the first season of this new TV Series shown in NBC, I finally took a seat and watched the pilot and it was a wow! I had goosebumps while watching it.
