Last Monday, after coming from Zamboanga City, Ellainne and I proceeded to meet my friends Kat and Lenny for a day at Enchanted Kingdom in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
Kat was able to get vouchers from Metrodeal giving us the chance to enjoy the theme park with a Php 200 discount.
One of EK’s newest attractions is EKstreme, 150 ft tower ride where it plunges from the top. Every ten feet represents the year of existence of EK as they celebrate their 15th anniversary. My friends, Kat and Lenny, are brave souls who tried the ride. EKstreme, however, is not included in the voucher’s rides. My friends paid an extra 80 bucks to get the thrilling experience.
New attractions also awaits at Rialto, the motion simulator Theater. It showcases Mumble’s Wild Ride which is based from the Warner Brothers and Village Roadshow Inc.’s movie, Happy Feet.
Other attractions that we tried are my all time favorite Rio Grande Rapids which got us all wet. We also enjoyed Up, Up and Away, the Flying Fiesta, and the Grand Carousel.
This is not my first time at EK, yet regardless the number of times I set foot at the park, it has always been an entertaining place for me. I always feel like a child whenever I set foot at Enchanted Kingdom. The magic truly lives on!
To commute to Enchanted Kingdom, get a bus enroute to Balibago at the JAC or JAM terminal at Gil Puyat LRT Station. With Php 57 bus fare, get off at Walmart in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. Get a tricycle from there that would bring you to Enchanted Kingdom. Tricycle fare costs Php 9.
